I can't tell you how many times I've attended a church service or musical event in which a quality sound system was availabe, but the personnel to run it and achieve it's capabilities were not present. When Studio E does a complete "turn-key" sound system for a client, we include six hours of training for the personnel that will be running the system daily. We want our systems to sound great on a daily basis. Our training package and Tim's ability as an educator insure this for our "turn-key" clients. We are now able to make this service available to customers who already have their sound system. The training seminar package consists of three 2-hour sessions, usually scheduled about a week apart. The first session covers sound engineering and acoustical theory and terminology so that, if a problem does arise, we can communicate with each other regarding it's solution. Ninety percent of the time these issues can be resolved via a phone call. This session also lays the ground work for the next two sessions. Session Two covers the specifics of your sound system; it's controls, features, problems, etc. We will produce a mini-system manual for you to use after the sessions. This session also includes some training in how to troubleshoot some day-to-day issues that commonly arise with installed sound systems. Session Three is a practicum. During this session we try to give each attendee some "hands-on" experience mixing. We usually ask for musicians to be present for this session to provide some good practical experiences during this session. If you use lay personnel to operate your sound system, and you want the best that it can offer, this package can accomplish it for you. (Travel fees not included.)
